Idea Development

This program takes the students into a journey of idea development, in which the students firstly create their own understanding on how business ideas could be created and then create future business concepts.

The “Idea Development” SAP is a part of the entrepreneurial package in the scope of Work Packacreated for the students of RUN-EU. The package guides the students of various areas to obtain an entrepreneurial skillset and further expand their capabilities in the work life.

This SAP will connect students from RUN-EU institutes to collaborate under the topic of idea development. Using a broad co-creational lens, and the latest information on idea development methods, the students will create new business ideas, that meet the changes of the European wide business environment. As a result, the students can present business ideas that are both based on theory and the collaborative knowledge gathered during the course. These ideas have also used AI as a supporting tool but have been ideated and analysed by the students themselves.

This SAP aims firstly to understand the tools for idea development and the surrounding business environment, after which it dives into the active idea development process ran with the methods of business design. Willingness to become an entrepreneur is not a perquisite for the course.

This SAP is divided into three weeks of study:

  • Two online weeks that prepare you for the offline week through flipped-learning methods.
  • One offline week at Hämeenlinna Campus that will bring all the studying together.
