Socio-Economic transition in the EU: A necessity to stay competitive

The socio-economic transition in the EU is occurring within a broader context of global globalisation, technological disruption, and climate change. The EU faces the challenge of maintaining its economic position while addressing these global trends. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated digital transformation and remote work, further emphasizing the need for structural economic shifts. The transition is also influenced by EU policies, including the European Green Deal and the Digital Agenda, which are driving the region toward sustainable and digital economies.
