Globalise Your Course: Embedding international and intercultural competencies in the Curriculum
2nd Edition (1,5 hours)

The Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV), the NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences (NHL Stenden), the Technological University of the Shannon, and the Howest University of Applied Sciences are organising the FAPSA Online Workshop ‘Globalise Your Course: Embedding international and intercultural competencies in the Curriculum’

Effectively integrating internationalisation into curriculum design is a strategic priority for RUN-EU.

This workshop offers a practical, structured approach to embedding international and intercultural dimensions into your teaching using the ICOM (International Competencies and Learning Outcomes) framework.

We will guide participants through translating the ICOMs into concrete learning goals within their own courses. Building on the principle of Constructive Alignment, you will then identify and select appropriate teaching and learning activities and assessment methods that directly correspond to these global objectives.

The session provides a valuable opportunity to make tangible educational design choices that strengthen the international and intercultural dimensions of student learning, ensuring your courses prepare students for a globally connected professional landscape.
