Master foundational cybersecurity practices in this five-day summer program. Combining classroom instruction with hands-on experience, participants gain practical expertise in the NIST Cybersecurity Framework - the industry standard for securing critical infrastructure and data. Three days of expert-led classes cover key CSF principles. Two days on a live cyber range using the Resilmesh Security Operating Centre will enable participants to apply techniques in realistic environments, responding to simulated attacks. Ideal for students seeking a solid knowledge of cyber defence. Leave with practical skills and real-world experience.
Service Learning Opportunity (from 30/09/2026 to 18/12/2026)
Financial literacy is essential for managing finances effectively and avoiding economic pitfalls. This project addresses financial vulnerability in Bruges and Leeuwarden through targeted financial education and support. Students will identify the needs of social workers through consultations and interviews, and develop practical educational materials and training. They will also solve a real-life assignment from participating partners. Results will be shared through partner websites and social media. Students will be evaluated on research, development, implementation and presentation. The project aims to strengthen financial knowledge, independence and resilience.
Service Learning Opportunity (from 07/09/2026 to 25/06/2027)
Games Heard Through the Eyes: Accessible Game Design for Hearing Inclusion is an international Service-Learning project that brings together students from the University of Burgos (Spain) and University of Leiria and Oeste (Portugal) to co-design accessible video games with and for people with hearing impairments. Working alongside social organisations, educators and end users, students apply user-centred design, accessibility principles and agile project management to create inclusive gaming experiences that promote digital participation, social innovation and European collaboration within the RUN-EU Alliance.

Can you imagine working with children? Do you love mountains? Would you like to get to know an area in Central Europe where four countries (Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein) meet? The two small towns of Dornbirn and Lustenau are located in the westernmost part of Austria in the state of Vorarlberg, set in the Alpine Rhine Valley and surrounded by the Alps, just a short distance from Lake Constance. Dornbirn is the largest city in Vorarlberg and combines urban life with easy access to mountains, nature, and outdoor activities. Students can experience both regional Alpine culture and a dynamic city environment in Dornbirn.
