Participants gain insight into meaningful STEAM education in extracurricular contexts. In international teams, they design and prototype an activity tailored to a specific youth target group, applying human-centered and inquiry-based approaches. Through coaching and hands-on sessions, they explore the seven STEAM design principles and develop facilitation skills to inspire young learners in their university’s Future Innovation Lab. Each team tests their activity with the target group, reflects on the outcomes, and improves their design accordingly.
How do we create meaningful, innovative and regenerative food and drink experiences in tourism? In this BIP, participants will assume the role of professional advisors, aiming to enhance the meaningfulness, innovation, and regenerative qualities of food & drink experiences at winter markets.Expect a mixture of input from experts in the field, group work, problem solving tasks and reflection. During the F2F week you will go on field trip to the historical city centre of Bruges and Lille. Modern slavery, including forced labour and human trafficking, affects millions globally and demands urgent attention. While governments and international bodies are increasingly acknowledging the seriousness of the issue, many companies fail to address the risks adequately. This project prepares participants to become proactive global citizens by addressing modern slavery in various industries. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding through interdisciplinary collaboration, online sessions, and real-world case studies.
