Lifestyle Brand Building - Towards culturally responsive design!

How can we build sustainable lifestyle brands that inspire identity, culture, and purpose? Join the Lifestyle Brand Building BIP and find out!We offer a hands-on, interdisciplinary journey that blends design thinking, brand building, and fashion production. The programme is jointly coordinated by HAMK from Finland, Politécnico de Leiria from Portugal, and NHL Stenden from The Netherlands.Across three online weeks and one face-to-face week at NHL Stenden, you will work in international, multidisciplinary teams in a safe, creative, supportive environment, use design thinking to develop sustainable brand concepts and express the brand through a fashion piece prototype.

Moot Court

The Short Advanced Programme (SAP) Moot Court on EU Values, part of the EU Values Awareness strand in RUN-EU Work Package 5 – EMIC, aims to deepen understanding of mechanisms safeguarding EU values through the interactive Moot Court format. Legal instruments, rooted in the Union’s founding Treaties, are central to promoting these values and driving integration. The Treaties, other legislation, and European Court of Justice rulings have long underpinned economic integration grounded in democratic principles. Jointly coordinated by IPCA and NHL Stenden, this SAP includes an in-person week in Barcelos, Portugal.

This programme focusses on EU institutional awareness, communication, and intercultural sensitivity. By engaging in cross-cultural collaboration, participants will enhance their ability to explain European decision-making processes and contribute to a more inclusive, value-driven Europe.Through a combination of workshops, seminars, group assignments, and immersive experiences, participants will explore how these values shape European governance, education, and society. They get to know the Gen Z and Gen Alpha audience and develop innovative formats.The programme offers dynamic online sessions focusing on media trends, new media business models and tech developments in media by trying out new tools.Students will apply theory to create innovative new media concepts for a media/content company, preparing themselves for real-world product innovation challenges.
